Katie’s Place Clubhouse Wins An Award

Katie’s Place Clubhouse (KPC) recently held an open house to celebrate receiving the Outstanding Program Award from the Pennsylvania Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PAPRS). This award is presented to a Clubhouse that demonstrates psychiatric rehabilitation excellence as Katie’s Place Clubhouse does through measurable impact, authentic member involvement, and strong community inclusion.

Katie’s Place Clubhouse is a program for individuals in Lackawanna and Susquehanna Counties with lived mental health experience. Here, colleagues develop their strengths and talents while gaining the skills needed to achieve their educational and vocational goals and contribute meaningfully to their community.
